Liu Ji Rong is one of the very few living grandmasters of Chinese martial arts in China today. Spanning over eight decades, his knowledge in Tai Chi Chuan includes all the major family styles. He has served on the All-China Sports Committee which sets the standards for Tai Chi Chuan compretitions and tournaments. Mr. Liu has been featured in numberous martial arts magazines and newspaper article. In addition, he has written a book on the staff and is nicknamed "King of the Staff."
Grandmaster Liu is proficient in several systems of martial arts, including Tai Chi Chuan, Hsing Yi Chuan, Pa Kua Chang, Pei Kua Men, and Tong Bei Chuan. Combining the principles and movements from these styles, he has developed the system known as Tai Qong Chuan. This system is reccognized by the martial arts circle in China and acknowledged as one of the most innovative for the 20th Century!
